(MIA).
The President extended his warm
welcome to Mr. Fujishima and his delegation and thanked him for his visit and for
bringing in many prospective investors. Mr. Fujishima who planned this trip to
introduce Japanese businesses to the FSM, was also instrumental in planning and coordinating the recent inaugural Investment Seminar in Nagoya, Japan, aimed at attracting Japanese companies to invest in the FSM.

Government’s and businesses desire to deepen ties with Japan, and to create a favorable environment for Japan to continue to expand its business and investment ventures in the region. He further expressed confidence in Japan's economic progress and lauded Prime Minister Abe's efforts to improve, grow and sustain Japan's economy.
“I really admire his courage, of
trying to revive his economy. All Pacific nations can benefit from Japan’s economic
progress” expressed President Mori.
While the FSM is pursuing business
partners through the captive insurance and the Micronesia Registration Advisors
(MRA), FSM stands ready to enhance its services as well as increase exchanges by
working together closely to improve the business and government relationship
with Japan.
“I think the program that MRA is
pursuing for your region is going to take off very successfully," said President Mori.
President Mori concluded that the
FSM government will continue to help MRA fashion the business environment through
captive insurance ventures, and will also continue to work on improving tourism in the FSM, as the tourism sector is a key component in efforts to stimulate economic growth.
