Recent training strengthens capacity in maritime law enforcement


  An Integrated Maritime Skills Training was conducted at the FSM COM Pohnpei campus from August 1-9, 2013.  Officers received training on fundamental maritime law enforcement, safe underway operations, and vessel boarding procedures encompassing safety considerations, officer awareness, interview techniques, evidence collection, handcuffing, vessel initial safety sweeps, and boarding procedures.
