FSM President Mori receives a note from US Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell

FSMIS (October 8, 2013): A hand-written note card to the President of the Federated States of Micronesia from the United States Secretary of the Interior dated September 7^th, 2013, was received on October 7^th through the US Embassy in Kolonia. The note reads:

                             Dear President Mori –

             

                     Thank you for meeting with me and my U.S. government colleagues   

           during the Pacific Islands Forum.

             

                    We look forward to continuing progress on the compact and other issues 

          that were discussed in our meeting. I appreciate the Forum focus and increasing 

          awareness of the impact of climate change in the Pacific.
