Meeting in Portland: Faith- based groups and individual citizens turn up in numbers

 

Probably around 250 FSMers showed up at the first meeting in Portland

 

Faith-based groups such as the one above who are mostly from the Island of Satawan in Chuuk made use of the meetings to show case their groups and provide singing, and sometimes entertainment, that added flavors at such gathering.

 

Another Church group from the ICC (Island Christian Community) congregation.

 

Others showed up individually, exercising civic interets.

At the end of the meeting, citizens mingled with their leaders and took time to approach them on individual concerns  and perhaps favors or requests....
